Ettra was tiring as she ran desperately across the rocky terrain. The year-long ritual of proving herself as a huntress had been hard enough, and she didn't want to face the Tribe in such an embarrassing condition. She remembered other unfortunate huntresses who returned with the nasty burden buried inside them. The children of the Tribe knew they'd get a spanking if they made fun of these women, but the older women and men were merciless in their teasing.
She groaned as she heard a rock rattle behind her. She still hadn't lost it, and had no hope of outrunning it. After another minute of continued flight, the inevitable happened. A flash of gray struck unexpectedly from the left as it tackled the young woman. She could only admire her opponent's skill as it brought both their tumbling forms to a rest, carefully avoiding injury to either of them. Actually, "it" was another female.
The Taursin Lizards were totem animals and kin to the Tribe as models of strength and hunting prowess. The female that had successfully hunted the girl down was a respected sister that must now be given her due. Ettra simply rolled on her back and submitted to the victor.
These creatures were unlike their Terran analogs. Hot-blooded with a core temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, they were quick, active, very aggressive and very intelligent. They used rudimentary tools and could communicate with each other. However they could not, or would not, communicate with the Human colonists, who were now cut off from home and had gone "native" to survive. Despite this lack of communication, and the initial misunderstanding between them as species, both had come to respect and accommodate each other. Taursins had been known to help injured humans and vice versa. They coordinated their hunting efforts at times, one helping the other capture prey. The only point of contention remaining between the two species was between the females and that was left to individual combatants to settle. This time, Ettra had lost, but she was a different kind of prey.
The core temperature of the female Human was ideal for the incubation of the Taursin ova. The rotting vegetation originally used for this purpose was unreliable and vulnerable to predation. The egg's ability to adapt to an anaerobic incubation environment allowed it to be imbedded and survive in a Human woman's vagina. Once the ten-centimeter wide ova was injected deep within the female's vaginal cavity, the mucilaginous membrane coating the gelatinous egg would bind to the vaginal walls to prevent displacement. Mucus from the withdrawing ovipositor formed a three-centimeter-wide plug that would fill and bind to the rest of the cavity and then hang down about twenty centimeters outside the orifice to transport oxygen to, and carbon dioxide from, the egg within. The Human vagina was the perfect replacement for a nest of vegetation. The Taursins saw this opportunity and ruthlessly used it.
As Ettra lay panting, she spread her legs in submission. The reptiloid noticeably relaxed and took its front feet off of the prostrate girl. It panted until it caught its breath and then went about the business it had captured the woman for. Moving to Ettra's exposed groin, it licked her genitalia. When the exterior labia were clean, it started forcing its thick, long tongue into her vagina to clean it as well. After it was satisfied she was ready it mounted her.
It straddled her, stomach-to-stomach, with its hind feet to each side of her hips. The base of its tail and its cloaca were now opposite her vaginal opening. Cooperatively, Ettra raised her right buttock and let the female Taursin grip it firmly with its left foot, then she lifted her right knee and the animal wrapped its tail around her leg. Finally, she lifted her left buttock so it could grip that with its right foot. It now had the leverage it needed to implant its egg.
Ettra laid back and relaxed in the female's embrace. She felt the pressure of the ovipositor's tip against her genital fold. It had slipped from the female's cloaca searching for the entry point into its victim's body. The woman's skin was cool to the touch of the female's hot pulsating ovipositor, and with the contact it aggressively sought penetration into her vagina.
The ovipositor briefly slipped up and down Ettra's slit until it found and inserted its tip into her vagina. Then, with slow even pressure, the large tube was gently pushed deep into her. Ettra arched her back and moaned as her virgin hole was dilated by the massive insertion and her vagina was uncomfortably stuffed. Once imbedded in the young huntress, the Taursin began to lay a single large egg in her.
As the ova began its journey from deep within the taursin's belly, through the oviduct and into the woman's body, the ovipositor extended and retreated with each rhythmic contraction of the duct's muscles. The hot, moist ovipositor was forcefully thrust deep into Ettra, completely filling her vagina, only to be followed by withdrawal and then another powerful reinsertion. Ettra began to helplessly thrust her pelvis in response to this copulation-like action.
After about a half an hour of labor, the ova finally reached Ettra's well-distended vagina. As it slid though the duct and into her slowly-yielding sex organs, Ettra arched her back and spread her legs as wide as possible to ease the implantation of the large egg. She cried out as her vaginal orifice dilated to form a perfect ring as the egg slowly passed deep into her spasming groin.
At hatching, the newborn would enzymatically absorb the remaining egg, egg coat, and plug as it emerged from the woman. The midwife would inspect the young Taursin and then take it where the female had implanted Ettra. Taursins were almost always waiting and happy to receive their young. The favor was often returned by Taursins protecting and returning lost children to the Tribe.
While Ettra considered this, the ovipositor relaxed over several minutes and then slipped from her. The female quickly inspected Ettra's genitals and the long thick cord dangling from her vagina, and then left, satisfied with her effort.
Ettra now understood the teasing by her elders of the Taursin victims. Despite the great initial discomfort, it wasn't that bad and actually might become very enjoyable. It was no accident when the same woman was implanted several years in a row at the very beginning of the Taursin egg-laying season.
